After initally claiming he would finish the season, Penn State football coach Joe Paterno has been fired due to the fallout over a child-abuse scandal at the school involving his former assistant coach Jerry Sandusky.

    I'm suspicious of Penn State's motives. I heard Paterno was only a couple of months short of being eligible for a pension.

    LOL Denny....that's good, I'm going to steal that one! Paterno probably qualified for pension in the 70s.

      He's a wealthy man...no pension would not force him out of his home.
